Never really used drop box but I gather you just put the file in the public folder and copy the link.  If you want to submit a script this way, do you have to create a thread and post the link?  I'm a dipshit at this stuff.  How does this work with a new script in a new thread?  Also can you post videos using this method.  I was trying to add a link to a video into one of my threads but it just says 'error'?  I'll go stand in the corner with the other retards until someone helps me out.

You don't have the correct link specified.  That's what 404 means.  Or the file isn't at the link you posted.    

What? lol.  I clicked on the video file and selected Dropbox then copy public link.  i pasted the link into the thread and 'error 404' now I'm stumped.  The video is a quicktime file if that makes a difference?

While I've got your attention, Michael.  If I was to post a short using Dropbox, how do you create a thread for it?  Does Don have to start the thread first and then add the link?

You would submit it as you normally would.  On the first page of the submission form it will ask you for the url of the script.  That's where you would put the link.  You then would skip the second page.
