As a Bay Area native and primarily a Giants fan.... I don't know what crawled up Oakland's ass this season, but man I LOVE it. They just flat bamboozled the Rangers and hijacked the AL West division.

Josh Hamilton whiffing on the flyball was priceless.  ;D

Living close to the bay it's nice to see both the Giants & A's in the playoffs. Possible Bay Bridge World Series. We'll see.

Grew up in the Bay - love that both teams won the division and love that the A's absolutely clowned the Rangers.  Texas' annual choke came a little early this year.

im not sure what to make of the Giants chaces this year.

the 49ers on the other we know exactly where they stand....  if they can find a few more big plays on offense.... they're absolutely the favorite in my mind.

Giants!!!! Now that's one Romo who can throw!

what a great comeback. it's like 1989 all over again in the Bay Area... might have a double championship with A's/Giants.... and the 49ers.

oh and a big f**k you to Mat Latos, that guy has been a Giant killer forever. He also hates the giants. He was tougher on us than Cueto would have been, until Posey blew the doors off him.

Grew up in the South Bay and was an A's fan until they traded my favorite player to St. Louis and I became a Cardinals fan.  Still am Cardinals fan to this day, fell in love with just the way the organization does things, and I am a fan of Chris Carpenter.

I don't hold a grudge with the A's as I know it's a business, but back then I wasn't really aware of those things.  So it's nice to see the bay area teams do well.  Too bad the A's couldn't move on, but I'm hoping the Giants and Cardinals play in the NLCS, but Cardinals got to win game five tonight first against a tough and powerful Nationals team.

Go Cardinals!!

Nice to see the Giants winning two out of the last three years. Clutch hit by Scutaro in the 10th and Romo sealed the deal in the end.
