Looking at the weather reports, Jersey is going to be bitchslapped off the map.

Yeah, take care you guys in the thick of it.

Am watching it on the news here in Oz. I've been through a few cyclones when I lived in Cairns and its not fun.

It's weird seeing places I've been to, like Atlantic City getting hammered.

We've been getting regular reports of the storm hitting you guys across the pond.

Stay safe everyone.

I hope everyone fares well, even feeling the remnants of this bitch in Ohio. Sandy is no joke. If I had a wish, she would knock Phil's power out, but nobody else.

Watch out for the sharks.

We've had some winds but very little rain in the Bronx.  When we walked the dog this evening, there were actually dry spots on the sidewalk.

I'm glad that people of East Coast are able to log in and post - means everything is not as bad as it seems. Here, in Azerbaijan, they exaggerate the news about the US.
Stay safe!

Thought with everyone in harms way.

Been watching it on the news, over here as well.

It's almost unreal to us in NZ.

Kevin, did you lose power? My parents are in the dark in West Andover.

That's harsh.  What did I do to justify such malicious comments?  Oh yeah, I remember...

You should be punished for your evil words.  And by that, I mean your script.

Felipe, we lucked out. Half the town out, but not us. My dad works for the power company. Pretty much 50% of the northeastern part of Ma. lost power. We lucked out.

Made up for last year. We lost it for more days than most.

power finally back on at this little section of the Jersey Shore and I do so love electricity  -- much darkness and cold these past weeks.

Hey c m.....from Jersey here too.  Glad you got your pwer back!  That was a long time!  We were only out for 7 days.  What town are you in?  Below is whats left of my boardwalk cafe...

Marnie,
It's so hard to believe how much a person's life can change in just a second.
Those pictures are heart-breaking.
However, I can't express enough how good it was to see you and your family were safe.

My wife and I took our son  down to Asbury Park this past summer for Bamboozle Fest and simply fell in love with the town and boardwalk.  We wanted to stop by and say hi but you were swamped.

It's so hard to comprehend what has happened to the Jersey Shore.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and everyone who now have to rebuild their community and their lives.

God Bless and stay Jersey strong.
