The movie looks fantastic. It will reunite the Coens with John Goodman and it will truly be able to showcase Oscar Isaac and all of his talent. Everyone has to see this.

I would like to hear what a lot of you think.

Think I'll wait to read the script cause it could spoil the movie...

This looks like it should have the goods, with a great cast inluding John Goodman, always a treat, but I have to say I'm not really familiar with Oscar Isaac - will have to look him up.

I always look forward to a Coen brother's movie - Fargo, Barton Fink, and I loved Brad Pitt's turn in Burn After Reading... who knew he could do comedy so well? But the trailer for this was a little underwhelming for me. Perhaps expectations were too high, I don't know, but will reserve judgement.

Hmm... I could go either way on this one.

On the one hand, we're talking the Coens here. I have no doubts in regards to their talent. The cast is pretty strong as well. John Goodman's always a treat and I'm more than happy to see Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan garnering so many opportunities to shine.

On the other hand, the trailer does nothing for me on its own. Granted, I said the same thing in regards to A Serious Man, which turned out to be one of the Coens' best, but this one has a musical component. When one has to invest in the professed power of a given musical genre in order to get something out of a film, it's a colossal gamble. It's precisely this reason while I'll never be able to appreciate Almost Famous. I have close to no interest in folk music and if this film's success is in any way riding on how the music resonates with the audience, I don't have high hopes.

We shall see, I suppose. Honestly, I'm hoping to be won. Even when it's a miss, I think every Coen bros. film leaves some kind of mark. I know. I've seen 'em all.
