You guys know I don't pitch anything that I think is a waste of money...well, this writer's pitch book has been a golden nugget for me. I'm in talks right now with a UK producer putting together a contract because I paid to post my logline in this pitch book. I've had more 'requests' from my logs with this than I ever got  paying InkTip.

If you decide to do it, tell Sharon that Dena sent you. Sharon Cobb is a dear friend of mine and my only teacher in the one screenwriting class I attended a year ago. She is produced and manages this Writer's Pitch Book.

And best of luck to all of us trying to get a foot in the door. It's a tough job!

Dena--

Glad to hear you're putting your money to better use with the writer's pitch book, even though I've haven't heard too much about it.  I commented recently in a thread about InkTip to Angry Bear, needless to say I eventually said good-bye to InkTip.

Anyway, good luck this.

Hey Dena,

Thanks for the heads up regarding this. I had never heard of this before, but it sounds great. I will definitely give it a go in the not too distant future :-)

All the best, and good luck with the whole UK producer thing!

I don't think I'm renewing with Ink for now.

Same here.
Lie Detector and Clone Wife got interest from Sherwood Oaks events.
InkTip never yielded much for me, other than a few requests.

Agreed.  Inktip is a waste.  Is there a link for this pitch book?

Has anyone ever tried this site?

http://www.virtualpitchfest.com/

I read a lot of good things about it. Despite the title, it's NOT a pitch but query letters and you're guaranteed a response( which is the difference from a cold email).
Just do your homework and find which producers are right for you... 5 pitches $50 10 pitches $90

Let me know if anyone has tried it

Unfortunately the deadline for this spring is the 31st. I'm going to scrape though and enter two loglines again...I wouldn't do it again if I hadn't had better luck with them. I've tried a few services and this one has panned out best for me.
