The best thing US film has done this year.

Not the best movie, but the best thing. This one has everything -- an amazing writer/director/star, a fantastic story, real characters, comedy, drama, and just the right amount of subversiveness. Support this one in theatre!

I'll make you a deal. If you're an active member of the board, you go to this movie in theatre, and you have a bad time, I will pay you your money back. Straight up. I will email you that shit, or mail you a cheque. Honour system on the bad time.

I like Lake Bell for sure, but comedy ain't my thang.  It would be too easy for me to take your money, Chris.

It's on my to-watch list. I loved the sound of it when I first heard about it, and I'm always a fan of anything that satirizes Hollywood! Now, if only anywhere in the UK was showing it...
