Does anyone here use Stage 32?  I'd never heard of it until I saw this post.

I've only been doing this since September 1999.

The only problem is that the SimplyScripts goes across two domains:

Simplyscripts.com and SimplyScripts.net which depresses my total overall metrics.

But, not too bad for a fat guy sitting at his kitchen table...

You're not jumpin' ship are ya?  SS is like the Bates Motel.

You can check in, but ya can't check out.  :o

That's good to hear. I love SS. The fights alone are worth the price of admission!

Yeah, I use it. Completely different from SS; it's more a LinkedIn for those involved in the film industry. I've used it to network with other London based filmmakers and have found many the reliable crew member on there (I found the cinematographer I have used numerous times on the site).

I've always considered SS as the best site - it's free and you get a bunch of read requests if your stuff is good. Lots of lurkers out there - from students to agents to actual producer/directors.

Not jumping ship.  i love Simply Scripts.  Made a lot of contacts and connections through here.  I was just curious about Stage 32 because it was at the top of the list and I had never heard of it before.  But like Toby said, it sounds more like a Linked In rather than a script review site.

Great news.  The more attention SS gets... all the better. Maybe in a few months SS will take over the top spot.

Very proud to call this my home :) Love this place. I have already gotten some emails from producers on a short I posted just a week ago!

This place rocks!!

I'm on stage 32 as well. I've collected over 300 fake friends on there. I like a couple of people that post there. Actually I  just checked, I have 376. I never post anything personal on there anyway... aside from my usual over-opinionated Shiite.

I do have a lot of contacts though from my City, upon thinking about it. If I ever needed to make a film, I have the resources there to make it a reality.

Everything I have achieved so far though is down to this site. Made a great contact through here and we are working on one of my shorts and also a feature. Not only that but there are plans to work on another once the first feature is made.

I also have another producer that I've written a horror script for and I'm just waiting for him to finish acting in the film he's doing and then it's back on for getting funding.

Yet another that's supposed to be making my other short, The Man. This is the second producer for The Man as the first had to back out after casting for one reason or another.

Anyway, all of that has been down to this site. Much thanks.

I wonder what would Russ Meyers say?

Anyway, nice link, Breanne!
Makes for a mildly interesting read, especially on pg2 where the list is updated with new info.

Zoetrope, Trigger Street and Talentville would fall under workshops.

Script Pipeline would be coverage-contests. A different beast.

Simply Scripts--surprised it's that many. That many visitors maybe to download scripts?

TV Writers Vault-Sell Your TV Concepts--again, different animals.

Well... HAAAAIL, YEAH! We be rockin' over here!

Someone with membership over that at DDP wanna sing SS's praises?
