Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm new here (as of 10 minutes ago) and am really excited learn the intricacies of screenwriting with the lot of you! I have a short script that I want to post and get my soul ripped apart by you guys, so check it out in the shorts section.

I'm also happy to give feedback as often as possible!

Welcome aboard. Don't be alarmed if one of the Mods eventually move your thread to its proper place... in (the getting to know you section). Anyway, jump right in, make your presence felt.

Good to have you, Brad. I'm sure you'll find this place as invaluable as I did when I first joined. Lots of cool people around who'll be more than willing to rip your soul apart. Just remember to review others work, too. It's the best way to fit right in around here.

Anyway, as others will have said, the best way is to read, review, take part, learn and become - for that this site is special. Those who can take it on the chin, improve. Simple.

Glad to hear you're prepared to have your soul ripped apart. Having a thick skin is (almost) a requirement. Remember, if you do get harsh criticism on any one story, that it is just one person's opinion and also even just one story... that can be improved or even discarded.
