Can't believe they're making another one of these stinkers.

This gives me hope that anything's possible. You just need to find that one person who believes in your story.

I haven't seen the first one, but I was planning on doing so. I don't quite get the purge idea itself, but I still want to see it. ;D

Just when I thought the Purge couldn't get any s hittier...

So much untapped potential in the first movie (even though I STILL don't buy its premise).

I'm glad to see they're taking this in a different direction to the first one. After they'd set up a world where the purge exists (as unbelievable as it is), it felt like such a missed opportunity by making it a routine home invasion story. All I could think throughout the whole film was how much better it would be if they were showing some of the carnage taking place outside.

I didn't hate the original, but it could of been so much more. The trailer for part 2 looks much better. We will see...

Well I dunno, at least they're doing right the exact thing they did wrong with the first one! That said, there's nothing very interesting about the trailer…

Looks like another very low budget to tell the story of this huge premise, so I suppose it'll all come down to the execution of the story.

The first film was necessarily about boring rich white people, though the halfhearted satire generally fell flat. I hope that the selection of boring slightly-less-rich white people as protagonists is representative of the whole approach of this film -- I just wanna see Joe Everyman get down and dirty in the streets.

This premise needs a huge budget... that's exactly the point. It can't be done cheap.

But looking at the trailer... it actually looks OK. I'll have to watch it just to see how they've handled it as the concept is just so amazing.

Personally I'd tackle it completely different. There's just too much containment in films these days and it's starting to show.
