Saw this last weekend with my girliefriend on Blu Ray.  We both thought the trailers looked good and with George Clooney and Matt Damon, she was all in.

I had read some pretty bad reviews and was surprised at how low the Tomato Meter was on a George Clooney written and directed picture.

Well, I now know what the critics were talking about.  IMO, this movie totally blew.  So dull, so boring, so nonmemorable, so bland, so...so crappy, really.

My girlfriend liked it and actually stayed awake, while I fought with my eyelids, as anything I could think of was more entertaining.

I can't even say that Clooney's acting was all that great.  I just didn't buy anything they were selling here.

I like the premise very much but it just didn't deliver much of anything.  I kept waiting for this big finale and that too was a complete letdown.

Made for $70 Million, this seemed to turn a profit with $78 Million at the NABO and another $77 Million overseas, but I bet everyone involved expected more.  I'm pretty sure the audience also expected more.

If you're not sleeping well, throw this thing in your player and you'll be snoring happily in no time flat.

This one's not for me in any way and overall, I was very underwhelmed.

I saw this last weekend on DVD and completely agree. The whole premise of sacrificing lives for art work came across flat. George Clooney playing George Clooney playing a military guy.

Now Edge of Tomorrow, that's a bit more entertaining.
