Those of you who like your music may remember The KLF. Otherwise known as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu. Further known as The Jams.

Or Jimmy and Billy when they were round at their mums.

I had this book, many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's now out of print and has been published online for free here.

Worth a read if you liked them and/or like interesting writing.

A link follows to find out what they sounded like - 3am Eternal.

For more, youtube KLF. You won't regret it.

Glad to hear it. A fine band. Or duo. They always amused me too. Pretending to burn a million pounds. And dragging a load of music execs off to a deserted Scottish island for the weekend, under the impression they were off on a free jolly, then having them trek round the island until they were all knackered and worried. Until they finally realised they were recreating The Wicker Man. Complete with burning wicker man.

Pop music is a lesser place without them. It's grim up north.
