SimplyScripts Screenwriting Discussion Board  /   General Chat  /  I have an imdb credit!

Hey guys, long time no talk. Hope everyone here has been well. I really miss the old days of browsing this site and discovering great new stories and characters. I personally haven't been writing much lately, but not for a lack of trying. I've been mainly sticking to features and I just can't seem to finish any of them. I am very excited to report that I have been produced again, but this one seems to be a bit bigger than the rest of mine.

You can read it here: http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?m-1199652397/

I'd really like to get back in the swing of things here. So if anyone has any suggestions please send them my way. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a sucker for short horror.

Congratulations Zack!

And yes, I do remember you being a sucker for short horrors!  ;D

What's this film about?

Thanks Pia! :)

The Cure is about a man who claims he can cure anything, be it cancer, depression, or any sort of suffering. The script is on here. I'll find a link for those interested and I will also be posting a link for the finished film once it is up.

Congratulations on the IMDB credit, that's great. Why's "short" inside the title? Looks strange.

Took a look at the script too and I enjoyed the premise and twist, great idea imo. Unfortunately I didn't like it that much in overall, the setting and most importantly the dialogue didn't seem strong enough for an effective micro-short to me. I'm definitely interested to see how this one turned out on the screen, though.

I'm relatively new to SS so I haven't met you before, but I look forward to doing so. Welcome back.

Congratulations Zack, and how have you been buddy?

I think I remember this?

I recall you writing quite a few short horror scripts.

Thanks DS and Anthony.

I've been good man. How about you?

Yeah the script is one of my older ones and I was really surprised when the director approached me about it. And yes, I like to write short horror and I plan on writing even more. :)
