Hi, 36 yr old from NYC. Starting writing years ago and put it on hold to concentrate on my kids. Today, I wrote 6 pages. I feel amazing, like riding a bike! It's good to be back. Just wanted to say hi!!!

Did you ever really go away? I did a similar thing for years and simply wrote stories in my head. I'm sure you've a lot to share. Looking forward to it.

Welcome Jane.
The writing in the head stuff can drive you round the bend if you're not careful. ;D Get it down.
Great to have another female on the boards. :)

I won't go down the Tarzan jokes...damn it I have. Oh well, all the best, hope it scratches your itch. Not saying you have an itch of course...oh sod it, best of luck :D
PS having stories I your head is both a dream and a curse. The question for me, when I write, is which one I am releasing? They can be heaven, and the usual hell.
Hope you feel good for it. Welcome to SS. It's a cool place.

Thanks Reef. I'm a dreamer, I constantly play scenes over and over in my head. Getting it all down the way I want it is the hard part. How to navigate is daunting, but I guess I'm learning as I go. I have 2 kids, so trying to write when I need to is tough.
