Now Don might hate me for bringing this up, but....
Traditionally, the OWCs take place in Jan, Apr, July and Oct. We had one last October. Just saying.   :P

And now Don might hate me...
And, maybe I'm a sucker for punishment, but isn't it about time for another one?

There used to be 4 every year. They have grown though, so I'm sure they involve a lot more work for Don. 12 - 14 entries used to be the norm. Now it's 30+...

This is true. A lot more work required reading them too from those of us dedicated to the cause. Hmm, I can wait...

I would like to see a OWC on film noir/mystery type thrillers. Limit to four characters, no fires. No 'plosions.  No more than two main locations. 10-12 pagers. Just a good ol' murder plot and a femme fatale.

Just something a little different from the norm.
That's my pitch anyway, and I'm sticking to it.

I'm down for a new OWC, as I've been absent recently.

No more than 10 locations, 10 characters, and a Million dollar budget.  I'm in.

Always up for being inspired to write a new short.

I seem to recall you saying that last time.   ;)

I'll post it here too.

What are the rules?  And sure, I'm interested in reading.

You know what might be fun?  Instead of having poor Don do all the work, why don't we help out?  We can't vote on our own project, obviously.  And we vote for like our top 3 and Don tallies up all the votes.

Or I can sit in the corner and not say anything since I'm a noob.

Because I don't know the rules.

Thanks
Dan
