This is a copy/paste from that other thread... :P
Mr. Z who started out here at SS same time I did, about ten years ago. Matias Caruso aka Mr. Z here. He's just signed with C.A.A. There are four big agencies in Hollywood. C.A.A. is one of them. Signing with them is a HUGE deal!
I am super excited and happy for him. I hope he'll get to live the dream. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :K)

Who needs CAA when you've got a mug and a thong... :D
Well done Mr Z, seriously impressive. Every time I read a script of yours, I just wish.... :'(

Actually Don, I think that deserves a mug. Especially for the Shout out to simply scripts he gave in the Page interview.
....but the thong's a different matter :-)

There is no one I can think of who is more deserving. Seriously. His talent has always been off the charts. But for the record...I did beat him ONCE over at Movie Poet. :D The great thing about working around people like Matias is they really raise the bar and make you work harder.
Congrats!!!!

Congrats, Matías!
Though it's sad you don't have an SS mug, hopefully being signed to CAA can give you some solace.
Seriously, this is a huge deal. And definitely earned. Congratulations.

I don't even have anything snarky to say. I'm actually happy for you. I must be getting old.
Now go look up "snarky" in your English-to-Argentinian dictionary, you hack.

Congrats Matias,
I'm not surprised, it was just a matter of time... and yours is now.
I'll be seeing you...

This frankly makes me sick and is bloody typical. Oooh, CAA. Ooooh.
Meanwhile I'll be washing dishes in the Dog & Duck and grumbling about this all weekend.
Congrats and all that. You're a fine writer and deserve it. You utter barstard.

And something else this proves, is that you don't have to live in Hollywood to make it either. You don't even have to live in the US! :)

Thanks guys! I'm very happy, of course, and it "only" took 11 years! So thankful to have friends supporting me all this time. ;D

He's moving to LA now though, right?
Congrats, Matias! I'm only familiar with your shorts, but it seems you're not bad at features either. ;) Best of luck!
