House 'The Kid' by Eveline Powell - Drama - This is a speculative script for the 'House' TV series which I wrote to practice writing a procedural, 4 act drama.  The plot is very loosely based on Chaplin's film, 'The Kid', where the hero and a kid join forces to cause havoc. 64 pages - pdf, format 8)

I read the first part of this script and found it to be fantastic, though I do wish the stepdad could have remained a good loving father.  You really captured the characters attitudes very well, I hope you are able to break into the business someday because you've got skills :D

I loved it lol. Had I not know it was a spec I would've assumed I missed this episode when it was on air. You did a great job of capturing the characters and kept me thoroughly entertained. If I had any complaints it would be that the teaser (and the beginning of the first act) didn't quite capture me -- things took a while to get rolling. Granted, that's largely because it's not a typical patient of the week episode. Overall I thought you did a great job, I only wish I could see it onscreen.
