A little inside info here since we're seeing some SS members having such big successes lately.

Dr. Mabuse aka Martin Lancaster is a long time SS member. He is a fantastic writer and wrote one of the best SS scripts featuring members ever! I think it was called The Great Brain Robbery. It was for an OWC where the assignment was western.

Anyway, Martin is a video game writer and wrote Crysis (sp) and others as well.

There's your gaming trivia for the day.  :)

Well 10 years ago I wrote a script (first draft, typos and disconnects) about gamers (it's the combat type, like old Rainbow, or Counterstrike, or COD, etc) and I read it the other day wondering if:

1) it's funny
2) it's relevant

So I would like an opinion from a gamer.

Pulled it up and read it. What ever happened to Shelton? I used to love reading the pissing matches he would weigh in on ;-)

Gee willikers it's slow here.

I think Martin nailed the characters/members that were included in that script perfectly at the time and that was part of why it was so funny.

As far as Shelton goes, I think he's been busy with family life. :)

I'm a gamer too.  Mostly PS stuff, puzzle and dragons as well as Magic the Gathering, and am interested in a few new games due out for mac.  Yeah, I have a mac.  Love the virus free world, hate the lack of games you can play.
