Hey,
Only just saw this thread, I'm still pretty new so thought is make a post.
Been on SS for about 3 weeks now and I'm loving it. Maybe a little too much. Can spend hours reading scripts, posting, getting on the boards. It really sucks you in. Feel like I've learnt so much already.
So a bit about my screenwriting journey so far. I've been doing it as a hobby for about 6 years now, on and off. No formal training. It just fascinated me so I read every book I could get my hands on regarding the subject. I read so, so many scripts, good, bad, otherwise, then I started writing.
What a joy it is to see your ideas come to life on the page, second only to seeing them come to life on the screen, I imagine.
I've been a SS stalker for quite awhile. I feel like I know a lot of the regulars already.
Anyway, I've got a couple of scripts up and some on the way. I look forward to learning and growing as a writer. I'm always up for honest, constructive criticism and I will always offer the same in return.
Thanks for making me feel welcome.
Cheers,
Warren

Thanks, I thought so. Probably didn't type my first FADE IN till about a year into the process.
I felt relatively comfortable with the dos and don'ts of screenplay writing by that stage. Obviously still have a lot to learn, but it was definitely a good foundation.
