A pretty much-maligned film, my wife and I watched last night as kind of a last resort on entertainment options.  Glad I did.

I thought the acting was excellent, the story solid and the scenery (purportedly New Mexico) served well as an Afghan war zone. I gave this one a very strong B+ - not sure why it was panned so much.
