I'm a big fan of these table reads and Smish's group is getting better and better at it every week. They are actually having fun doing it and I think they're pretty funny as well.

As far as value to the writer, I believe hearing your written words read out loud is priceless. It helps to clear up what works and what may not. And it's pretty darn cool to hear your stuff in action. Also, the price is good. Free. And even if that changes, I'd still consider.

That being said, every type of script may not read as well as another. After the read, they critique the work, so thin-skinned may not need apply.

Again, they are doing this on their own time, banter-full or banter-free, who cares.

Check them out. Ehh?

I assume this will be up on youtube sometime later? It does say they post there after but Pia & Brett's current one I can't find, so maybe in a while...
