One of my earliest "crush" I can recall is gone...and I am heartbroken.  Iconic, beloved comedic actress, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away recently.

What a remarkable career....Laura Petrie on the Dick Van Dyke Show, early 60's....then Mary Richards on the Mary Tyler Moore Show in the 70's....I suppose I could go on but most of you know of her success.

Who can take a nothing day and make it all seem worthwhile well it's you girl and u should know it... she made it afterall....

MTM was a great show, I recall watching it as a teenager. The cast was so good, with Ed Asner, Gavin McLeod and the guy that played Ted Baxter. They used to almost overshadow Mary. Classic stuff

I too grew up watching Mary on the old Dick Van Dyke show. So enjoyable to see her perform, and a special treat to see her dance. "Too Many Stars" is one of my favorite Van Dyke episodes — she and Sylvia Lewis really lit it up. RIP Mary Tyler Moore.
