some freebie scriptwriting software. It's time I dived back into this thing after selliong my soul in the corporate world for the past two years.

I see Celtx is now a paid bit of kit...

Basic version of Celtx is free, though it's all online now... Writers Duet also has a free version and is good... Amazon Studios even has a free screenwriting tool, though it's pretty basic.

Hey Andrew, good to see you back.

trelby.org

Free, as far as I can tell.
P.S. Good to hear your soul is intact. :D

There is another good one also, it's called Cinergy from Mindstar, I used to have that before I switched to Movie Magic. Not many know about this free screenwriting program. Check it out.

It's funny. I have paid software which I love (Fade In) but find myself using fountain more and more. It's free, simple and can be used anywhere on any device (like in a google drive doc).

Thanks, all.

Sorry, I am just a very hectic person right now, so am not as active to the baord as I would wish.

Good tip on Celtx, AC. Thanks for that.

On a separate note, are there any good unproduced - and hot - screenplays worth a suggested read?

Libby! All well here - hope Down Under is treating you right!

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia script is the funniest thing I've ever read on this site. It's new but not sure if you meant a feature.
