#5: Richard Jenkins
A strong dramatic actor who has a surprisingly well-timed comedic delivery. Two Oscar nominations help, too.
Recommended Role: Walter - The Visitor
#12: Jeffrey Combs
Known for his ability to play wacky, off-the-walls roles, Combs always manages to bring humanity and a grounded sense of reality to outlandish characters.
Recommended Role: Agent Milton Dammers - The Frighteners

Jenkins is a much better actor, but Combs is an all time legend for his work on Re Animator and From Beyond.
For that reason.. I'm going Combs.

Ha, yeah, thought the same.
Richard Jenkins, mainly for his short but memorable role in The Man who Wasn't There. One of the best depictions of being liquored up on screen that I can remember.

This one is actually pretty difficult. Both have range and own their performances. I side with Richard Jenkins. I wish Jeffrey Combs had drawn a different opponent.
