Hi Michael, I really like the title and slug line. Nice details in the action lines - such as squirrel in the garden trying to get to the bird feeder...
I've read the first ten pages or so and got confused who is who, and the nice details disappeared and it got heavy on dialogues.  But you live in Virginia and I live in UK so the terminology is different so I should give it another go at a later date!
