Every now and then I get 'illustrated screenplay' books off Amazon, and after getting The Dark Knight I started to look back at some of the other books I had gotten that were "illstrated screenplays'. These published works featured the main shooting script, of course, but also storyboards, concept art and related material. Ever since, I started to shift my focus on not screenplay books per se, but rather, 'production art' books.

While divisive among fans, Thor The Dark World (which I loved) was one the least expensive of the Marvel production art books. Even with a slipcase. and it was really, really nice. Sleepy Hollow made me appreciate the Tim Burton film a bit more, but also made me think that Andrew Kevin Walker's script (which came with it) looked more impressive on the page.

Does any one else here collect 'illustrated screenplay and production art books?

I was given a production art book for Avatar as a present many years ago. Thought it was pretty cool.
