SimplyScripts Screenwriting Discussion Board  /  Writing Opportunities and Call for Scripts  /  What’s the best site for script writing jobs?
Posted by: Deano, September 6th, 2018, 4:54pm
Hi everyone....

I know Anthony posts monthly opportunities and I think it’s fantastic he takes the time and effort to do it, I just wondering what sites everyone uses to look for script writing jobs ?
Or producers looking for scripts? Etc ...

Currently I use
- Redit
- Screen writers market ( which is currently down)

Does anyone recommend any ... I’m
Just not too keen on paid sites unless you highly recommend?
Twitter pages ?

Thanks

Thanks Deano...

The sites I regularly trawl for my postings here are Stage 32, Network ISA, Mandy, Upwork and Craigslist.

I've tried paid services such as Screenwriting Staffing and Inktip, they can be good if you write low budget scripts... if you have the spare cash then give them a go.

Best of luck.

I've never heard of Network ISA, I'll join this site.

Reddit seems to be decent.

Upwork doesn't seem to like me.

Craigslist can be big.  @Anthony, do you look per city or can you look everywhere now?  Back in the day I used to only use the London Craigslist.

I use Anthony's list :)

I do not recommend InkTIp

I have had work from Screenwriting Staffing, Upwork, and Guru.

Upwork are a skank though who take 20% of the first $500 and then 10% thereafter (per employer). It's better to find the work there and get paid off-site if you can.

Jay - I've had to set it up for individual cities, set up about 40 but they're automated via RSS feed... So only a pain to setup.
