Surprised not to see any posts on this.  IMO, this is very easily 1 of the very best TV shows of all time.  In fact, the only other series I'd put above it, is Game of Thrones.

Created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, and starring the excellent Kevin Costner, alongside a a fantastic supporting cast, this show is truly epic, pulls no punches, and (for me, at least) is truly groundbreaking.

I could go on, but let's just leave it at this - if you haven't seen it, you should.  Can't wait for season 2, next year.

Grade - A+

Yes!  And she's actually fully nude in several scenes and says, "Fuck", like it's going out of style.

One thing I didn't mention is that this is definitely hard R rated material, and it's shocking to me that's it's on TV.  When my girlfriend first started watching, I would walk by and hear F Bombs being dropped like a nuclear war was going on and couldn't believe this is a TV show.

I guess they're able to get away with more these days.  I know Taboo had incest, F-bombs, sex, and murder, and that was on FX.

I've been interested in watching this but didn't feel I had the time to invest if it wasn't worth it.  Now that you say it's just under Game Of Thrones, I'll give it a shot.

I have high hopes for it and I'm glad to hear it got picked up for another season.

It was on Paramount Network, but it's all over, so you'll have to go to your on demand stuff, if you have Directv or DISH and it should be available...for free...assuming your channel lineup includes Paramount Network - which used to be Spike TV...I think.

It's on Paramount Network, which used to be Spike TV.  I think it's pretty much on most cable providers.

Way more than you can possibly imagine.  I mean, seriously, if released as a movie in theaters, it's R rated for sure.

Give it a shot and I'd be shocked if you weren't loving it early on in episode 1.

It's only 9 episodes and most are under an hour, but there's an awful lot packed into each and every episode, and the characters and writing...and literally everything are seriously top notch.

I haven't been able to find out what they spent on this, but my guess would be in excess of $100 Million for the first season.  If anyone can find out, I'd love to know.

So, one episode down and this thing is a juggernaut. No expense has been spared.

Really good to see Kevin Costner back in a role befitting of his talents.

It’s an intricate web and I can’t wait to see where it all leads.

Thanks for the heads up, Jeff. This wasn’t even on my radar.

I do like Costner. I watched the Hatfields and McCoys recently and that was great. I'll see if I can find this somewhere.

I'm definitely in the minority on this. I found it terribly boring and predictable. Magnificent scenery for sure, but otherwise disappointing for me.

You're very welcome.  IMO, it only gets better...and better, as the episodes go on.

All done.

This is a fantastic show. Definitely up there with the best. If I had to try and fault it; my only issue is Kelly Reilly's pretty average accent. So it's not really a big deal.

Bring on the second season.

I wanna be a cowboy!
