Haven't pulled the trigger on applying for any of these yet, but just knowing what's out there is helpful in getting a serious start in this field.

I find some of these opportunities fascinating. And not just with script requests, but when you look into the people taking pitch sessions as well. It’s always worth checking them out. They are like stories in themselves about there that particular person is in their journey and some of them you just know aren't quite what they seem. It's like a glimpse into the human psyche!

@Mark - agree and I actually don't even publish everything I find...

These are the ones I try and avoid...

'looking for a writing partner for my great idea'
'write my idea and I'll pay you when it sells'
'the world needs to hear my story of when I met an angel/alien/devil/god'
'looking for someone to translate my 1000 page novel and put it into Final Draft, payment $30'

The world is full of oddballs and all of them are on the internet!
