https://taleflick.com/

Seems a bit like Blacklist, cost is $88 per script per year.

The people behind this site seems legit in terms of credits/industry contacts.

Anyone used it yet?

It seems expensive for one story submission @ $88.

Is there a consistent history of success stories at these sites? Other than the one script that Carson at ScriptShadow broke?

The Blacklist is indeed big time - but has their website turned up any undiscovered jewels? The annual list became a farce a few years ago now already, with the list comprised of actors / directors who have written their own material, or scripts already discovered, by known writers with representation, and well underway in the development process.

Yeah, not sure on that either Jayrex... I guess on the other hand it's $30 a month on Blcklst.

Also seems a little bit like scripts are an afterthought and their primary goal is to get authors to submit books...

I agree.  It seems the site is geared towards authors.

On face value I would not touch this.

Looks to be more novel focused.

It's $88 a script per year - fuck no. There are ton of free sites.

They demand a right of  first refusal on all offers you receive and have this gem:

TaleFlick charges studios, producers and production companies for our recommended titles, as well as a back-end fee when movies and shows are made. We believe in our process and the ability to identify quality content, so that we can feed the ever increasing demand for original content.

If they believed in their process - why are they charging you?? Also, if I'm a producer - why am I bothering with these guys - that I have to pay - versus all the other sites where I don't?

I'll wait and see - hope I am wrong - but this looks like a fail for me.

When I get no interest from scripts if I pay to list them or if they are listed free, at least I have the satisfaction in knowing I haven't paid money for my script to be ignored.
