In all honesty, I truly liked this script! The characters were believable and the setting can be visualized. So a single act of "kindness" is what is going to alter the course of history? I guess that's how I understand the ending. I won't blow it for anyone else, but the simplest of acts, not coward less, but kindness, is how I read the ending.
There are minor grammar issues, like where you speak of a an animal "hoping". I believe it is "hopping". Make sure before posting a script to proof read your work. Even have someone else read it to get a second pair of eyes on it before submitting. That's what I would do.
Either way, I enjoyed this script. I read it to the end and it captures the struggles of two sides locked in war. Not that this hasn't been done before, but it is a good script.
