Sean Elwood has been a long time and major contributor to the screenwriting and SimplyScripts community. Never a fan of horror, Sean reintroduced me and taught me to appreciate some of the subtle nuances of the horror genre.  Sean has just published his nineteen tales of horror and suspense available on Amazon*.  You can also get more information about this and Sean's other works on his website SeanElwoodArt.com

AfterLife AfterDeath: Stories for the Dark presents nineteen chilling tales that will creep beneath your skin and chill you to the bone, opening up some of the most primal feelings that every human being retains of death, darkness, and the fear of the unknown. Follow a man who returns to his childhood home after his mother’s suicide, only to discover something evil residing within it, and has been waiting for him to return; A dispatch operator receives a terrifying 911 call from a frantic woman who finds her entire family slaughtered; Three teens chasing an urban legend get more than they bargained for when the rumor ends up being true, and more than just a ghost story; A public channel broadcasts something strange to the residents of an apartment building, who begin to act even stranger; A horrific nightmare comes to life for a passenger on a plane traveling overseas. These stories will make you reconsider what truly lives in the darkest shadows of your home, and instill fears you thought you would never have. Turn the lights off!

Oh wow, thank you so much for the mention, Don! It is greatly appreciated! And I want to thank you for giving me a platform to share my stories. Being a member on these boards since, what, 2006? has allowed me to share my stories over the years and also grow as a writer with not only your help, but the help of everyone on here. Everyone here has given me the criticism to help me become a better storyteller and screenwriter and I appreciate every bit of it. Even though I'm not a regular member on here as much as I used to be, I still think of this site and the people here a lot.

This book was self published by myself on Amazon for my own personal use (something to put on my coffee table). Since I had the option to sell it on Amazon, I decided to give it a whirl for anyone who is interested in reading it. Everything was created by me, from the stories (obviously), to the artwork inside, to the cover art and backside. Some of the stories I had converted into scripts that I've posted on here, or vice versa, so some you may find familiar.

For anyone curious if there's a Kindle version, unfortunately no and probably never will be. I've tried countless times to get a format for an e-book, but the artwork isn't compatible and screws up the formatting. Oh well! For now, you can get a hardcopy of the book, or, if you want to read the stories for free, just visit my website at https://www.seanelwoodart.com/afterlife-afterdeath

Stay spooked!

Thank you LC and Kirsten! :) I hope you enjoy all of the stories! All written over about a 3-4 year period, I'm happy I was able to finally compile them all together into a horror anthology. Some people say it's reminiscent of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, so that's a compliment to me!
