Wondering if anyone has started reading any of these. So far I've read The Lighthouse and Pain and Glory -- but my favorite so far has definitely been Uncut Gems. I saw the trailer last Summer and was very intrigued. Sandler looked like he was a good fit for the role, with him getting all serious now. But the screenplay is razor sharp and fast paced, although it clocks in at like 166 pages! But it goes fast, and there's never a dull moment.

Gonna see about Terence Malick's script next. Although I should really get some writing done!

Hey Steve, the link to Uncut Gems doesn't work anymore. Ooh, I just noticed you commented on that. Gotta get 'em quick.  I got another copy from Script Lab but it only clocks in at 120 pages - later draft maybe? Curious...

I think Sandler does very well in his serious roles. I prefer him in those rather than the slapstick which can get on my nerves.

You're right. The link is down. But the Don came through for me. Needless to say I have the 166 page version if anyone wants it!  ;)

And I agree with you about Sandler in serious roles. I get a feeling this one may be his best yet. Would love to see this movie.

Yes please, Steve.  ;)

I wonder what was cut. ?? Ha! A pun on the title. Forty pages is a lot to get rid of.

Edit: You're a gem.  ;D Thank you!
