New company, new competition and a little different in terms of what they are looking for.

But seems legit with both Writerduet and Screenwriting Staffing sponsoring.

They are looking for...

We’re looking for something that has a love story, center around a female character. A genre that’s marketable such as horror, action, fantasy or even drama? And an interactive storyline, such as choose your adventure?

For phase I of this competition, submit a half-hour to one-hour pilot script of a romance story for an interactive story game with a female as the main character.

We are open to all genres as long as it includes a love story, horror, sci-fi, thrillers, comedy, actions, fantasy are all welcome!

We will be selecting top finalists to attend an in-person pitch event with all of our judges. For finalists, please expect to submit a 10-25 page pitch deck (bible) including character arc, story arc, logline, synopsis, and treatment.

Sounds interesting...

Excuse my niavety, but by interactive do they mean in the vein of Bandersnatch? I wouldn't even know where to begin writing something with alternative storylines

Thanks for posting this up for us

Hey Matthew

Yes, I believe they are looking for something with potential branching storylines, like Bandersnatch... and no I'm not sure I'd know how to write one either ;-)
