I thought it was weirdly slow lately to jump into action but thought maybe it was my connection.

I thought something was wrong with my connection. Glad it's not on my end. :P

I thought my mind had slowed down

The portal button is slow, but okay. Recent posts button takes about 30 seconds to load. Individual threads load quick. If this helps.  :)

Find latest posts by member times out. Was trying to find a script to delete (at the writer's request), couldn't get that function to work.

That has always been slow, but I, too, see it timing out.  It may be time to migrate the discussion board to a new system.

Yes, Post counts are going down.  Anyone who hasn't posted more than one post in the last 14 years is getting removed.  The site may be a bit funky over the next few days.

Off-topic... What with the themes option? Didn't there use to be multiple board themes you could select from?

It's under Personal Forum Preferences in the Member Center. Click the Language and Theme. In Forum Theme, there is only one option.

Years ago, there were multiple. Not sure when or they were replaced with the Converted Theme, though I'm sure Don has his reasons.

It would be sweet to see some theme options return in the future, assuming that's possible.

The improvement may merely be down to the fact that the DOS attack has stopped. Why somebody would want to DoS attack this site is beyond me.
