Crazy expensive, tiered pricing in 18 months hasn't produced anything. I hate to sound like a Debbie Downer, but WTF?? On a positive note, I guess if you have some disposable income then this might be the site for you. Sheesh.

Don't think I will ever pay to host a script - especially at those prices. It all just seems predatory to me

For me, will never ever pay to host a script. I think most writers feel this way.

Very tempted to submit a couple of Oscar winning scripts to see what the computer says, I am pretty sure that an AI review of a script is worthless.

Ultimately in my humble opinion, the site that will ultimately win the script hosting battle is the one that:

- Offers hosting for free.
- Reserves the right to refuse scripts for hosting if they do not meet the sites quality standards (regardless of how determined - AI or humans)
- Gets paid only when scripts are sold (percentage to be determined)

If any of these guys really think that participation in their sites lead to sales - they'd have the balls to become virtual agents per se - they get paid when you get paid.

On charging for hosting... it's interesting as there's definitely a mix out there with Inktip and Blacklist showing that as a business there is money to be made in charging for hosting, they've both been doing it for years.

Could it be that this works better for Features and TV than shorts and that's why they are successful with it? They certainly both have multiple examples of it working for writers.

Personally, I've used Inktip with a few reads and a little interest, but nothing solid... not used Blacklist so won't comment... and I won't use TaleFlick as the cost, due to it been a year, is prohibitive when there's no gaurantees.

But each to their own.

Early on I dabbled with Inktip (paid for it), Blacklist and Virtual Pitchfest - zero success. All of my script requests have come from here, Script Revolution, Contests.
