Hey Richard,

I thought this was very solid. Well written. It's simple but I'm sure relatable to many -- father/son relationships, coming out as gay, parents adjusting to it, etc. And like, in your short, trying to rekindle a father/son relationship (especially when the father is not fully understanding of the situation) can be grueling... for both sides. And you show that. Just to start off with one small step (eg the phone call) can also be a huge step.
