Thanks everybody. That little short story started right here.. where most of my scripts have started at one time or another. I learned most of what I know right here from you guys... the notes.. the lashings ya know. :) Happy to be amongst other creatives, all who seem to pump each other up... it's a good place, here.

Very thankful for this site and you guys!!!

You're awesome Dena!!!!  8)

You need to write STRINGS into a feature too. That is a great story.

Very cool. Should be a great experience. Your premise sounds terrifying... I don't do well with bees.

Speaking of Strings... I actually dropped my external off with an editor today. He is going to edit the three scenes we will keep... Bob in the flower shop, thug smashing the violin, and the gang walking aginst that grafitti wall.. but I'm going to refilm the other scenes to redo that short. I owe it to the cast. Bob asked me for a polished cut of his scene for his reel and I was like ... I felt so bad.. so today I paid Royced $200 to start working on the footage! :) So Strings is not dead yet!

Congrats. I see the grant is for $4000. I'm interested to know what the expectation is from them about how you 'develop' your screenplay, or do they just give you the cash and it's up to you how to progress from there?

Congrats, Dena! I LOOOOVE the premise!

I kinda wish it was on Shudder right now, definitely would be something I'd watch in a heartbeat.
