Just finished this - well done and worth the view - just not sure what parts are true.

Teri and I binged all 6 episodes yesterday, and agree it's very well done and quite entertaining.

The screenplay was based on the books by Shannon and Culkin's characters. I had no idea this was released in 2018.

For us, the only downside was how much it played up the "goodness" of the Davidians, and how bad everyone else was.

It's a good watch for sure.

Grade - B+

My wife and I had the same reaction. To me, the POV of this film was that the Davidians were murdered. IF - the events in the movie were true, the Government definitely were the bad guys - but I know there is a documented counterview. That this was basically a Jonestown scenario.  But again - a good watch. I think your grade is about right.

Woweeee.. I have to admit I did not know the whole story. I remember the standoff being in the news etc but I had no clue it ended like that! Really good...watched it all the way thru.
