Some of the descriptions were confusing but in the end I got it.

What I'm referring to are lines like, "He reaches down into the ground..."

All the action takes place on the board, right? They are molding mountains and people on the game board, but at times it makes it sound like they are actually reaching into the ground around them.

Also the descriptions of the people being created are six feet tall. Still on the board, right? Just the perspectives of creators and those being created are different.
