Aha! Black and white 'buddy' action movies. Race is definitely part of the theme...maybe police too?

Die Hard with a Vengeance (to me) was even better than the original. Damn near wore out the VHS (I'm so old). I'll never forget Fled. I watched it the night after getting all four wisdom teeth pulled and a handful of Percocet. Now that I think about it, I don't remember a thing about Fled.

Just occurred to me that all three of those clues have the same common theme to them. It is hilarious, but unintentional. The connections are looser than that.
