Hello

Has anyone copyrighted during this timeframe and if so, how has you’re experience been?

Thanks in advance

Hey Gabe,

I did, about a week and a half ago, through Library of Congress.

Easy peasy - got the verification email straight away and uploaded the PDF copy through the link.

There’s a delay for them sending out the certificate - from memory about 2 to 4mths, but I‘m fine with that.

Hmm. I copyrighted a few months ago. Got email it was done but no link to certificate. I’ve been in contact with them they said it wouldn’t be until they came back into building.

Thanks for the input. Did they include the certificate number so you can put it on your scripts? If they sent you the email, they should’ve included it in the email?

I don't copyright.

I am hoping it gives someone the incentive to steal my script to that I can sue them.

I am pretty sure that is the only way to get something actually filmed :)

No probs. I was sent a case file number in the email. It’s been so long since I registered anything - I can’t remember whether the case file number actually ends up being your certificate number?

Lol Dave - you might be right though. I may have to try your method sometime.
