So, I've basically stayed home for six months now. Am I the only one who still stays at home and don't go anywhere or see anyone? The few times I venture out, I use a mask and keep hand sanitizer in my car. I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one doing so. Everyone else is going about like pre-pandemic.

Anyway, I've read some books during these times. I haven't written real reviews because I suck at them, but here's my list with some recommends and such. Do you have any recommends or avoids? Let me know. :)

Dark Matter and Wayward by Blake Crouch.
Recommend both.

Recursion by Blake Crouch.
Good, but I started to lose interest past the midway.

Darknet By Mathew Mather
Good, but lost interest 3/4 in.

The Survivor by Gregg Hurwitz.
Pretty good, but once revealed why the father does what he does, I lost interest. Still finished it though.

The Dark Tower I II III by Stephen King.
Spellbinding as always.  :)

Veronica Mars by Rob Thomas
Not my cup of tea. Quit before I reached the midpoint.

Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler.
Was actually my second read of it. I liked it better the first time, but it was still okay.

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides.
Promised as a page turner, but I couldn’t really get into it…

The Black Ice: A Harry Bosch novel By Michael Connelly.
Pretty good, but felt a little dated. Not just by the time it’s supposed to take place, but in attitude as well.

It Bleeds by Stephen King.
LOVED it.  :)

The Demon Next Door byBryan Burrough.
Pretty good. Not great, but I read to the end.

Caught by Harlan Coben.
Not bad, but with so many other stories, as soon as I start to figure things out I’m less intrigued.

Currently reading. Spare Room by Dreda Say Mitchell.
Ok, but not the page turner I was promised.

I also recommend checking out her script Get Home Safe which was on 2018 Blacklist. The beginning was a bit of a slog but get past that and it flies by and she has a unique voice.

For horror fans, I've recently read the best thing I've read in years.

A little exorcism tale called "A Head Full of Ghosts" by Paul Tremblay.

It's hard to find horror that feels fresh.  This one sticks with you for a while.

I’ve been meaning to read the books I downloaded by S. Craig Zahler. I’m a huge fan of his.

As far as I know, there isn't much difference between the films and their respective scripts. Maybe except for some dialog improvs and scenes adjustments. Nothing different. Also, the majority of the time, the final shooting draft of a script is made public.  

Ooooh, LOVE seeing some fellow Constant Readers here! HUGE fan myself. I would even say he's my all-time favorite. Sure, there are other writers that pop up with great stories, but no one can do it over and over and over for decades! He's the writer I admire most. He inspires me.

Thanks for the tip, Bert. You turned me onto Gillian Flynn which I really appreciated. Still waiting for something new from her. See, if she was SK, she would spit two or three of them out every year.  :)

Just read Carson's blog today, so my next one will be The Chain. I started The Sandman over the weekend, but that didn't work for me at all. If I start a book I usually know after the first couple of chapters if I'm going to like it or not.If I read more than that, I have a thing about having to read to the end, but if the first couple of chapters don't work for me, I drop it. I knew right away The Sandman was not for me. Oh well. On to the next one.  :)

Currently, reading Watchmen, the comic book series.
