The central idea is okay and could have worked if you'd built up some mythology about the house and gave the characters some personality but 4 pages is just lazy. The writing is tight and easy to follow but it just follows a lot of horror tropes - hiding under the bed, shadows under the door, stuck windows. End scene is the best but you haven't built up to it sufficiently.
