So, was checking the board yesterday, thought I saw a "u", then an "r"... thinking it's gonna spell 'murder' eventually? Upcoming OWC?

But now the music score for the Twilight Zone has made an appearance, definitely an OWC! Twilight Zone wrapped in a murder enigma...?

Thanks! and umm... not sure if I missed it or if it's newer than this, but I just saw a thread that was already in the works for the clues and created another? If so, my bad. Mods are free to ditch this one I posted to avoid redundancy if necessary, lol.

We don't much mind redundancy posts of redundancy. Only that they remain on topic. They both are, so I think they're both golden.

I agree, Sean. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.  And, the horse could come back to life.  Why take a chance?

I am not at all good in deciphering. So I'll go with the flow.

My girlfriend walked in yesterday to find me staring at Simply and hesitantly singing "Doo...doo...doo...doo..."

I'm fine at reading sheet music but absolutely awful at singing, so it took me a minute.

Exciting! And something Twilight Zone-esque sounds just right for the frightening and absurd times of 2020...

Lol. That's kind of what happened here. I brought up a free online keyboard on my iPad and kept playing the first bar over and over, I'm like "Exorcist...? Halloween...? wtf is that? It just wouldn't click. Then my wife looks at me, as in... "it's Twilight Zone... ya' egghead."

Me: facepalm...

Frightening and absurd times of 2020...? You hit the coffin nail on the head there!

Ahhhh... U R in the Twilight Zone. Was going to ask my son to play those notes on his guitar this morning to figure it out.

Cool challenge since no doubt we're all feeling a bit in the Twilight Zone recently.

Beware of parameters that require the story to be set at dusk

Dusk is so 2019. It's going to be the Magic Hour, day and night. Yeah, figure that one out. Lol.

So I noticed the music score and decided to dust off my recorder nearly 40 years later...

Couldn't believe it! The OWC has something to do with Sloop John B! A Beach boys OWC

You're Welcome.

Then I remembered

1.  I can't read sheet music
2. Sloop John B was the only song I had to learn at school
3. The recorder is the worst instrument outside of an Ocarina

I tried. I'll just go with that Twilight Zone theory :D

I wish there was a button where you could, just like FB, respond to a comment with an emoji. I would hit the laughing emoji at your comment!  :D

Lol, never had me the unfortunate to endure either. But I do remember having to play this dumb-ass rickety Trombone in grade 7 band cause it was the only instrument left after everyone got first pick, which also turned out to be a big nightmare cause we would always start class with a song called ‘Pirate’s Parade’ which opened with the brass section going solo… 1 rickety trombone and 1 tuba.

Ocarina? Try the coolest instrument ever... the Theremin, the only instrument you can play by not even touching it.

While we’re waiting…

How many people remember the opening dialog for every episode of Twilight Zone beginning with:

“ imagine if you will.”

If so, you may be experiencing an alternate or parallel universe memory, a residual artifact… yes, the Mandela Effect. Why…? Cause it was never said.

How many remember the name Rod Serling, or was it Rod Sterling? Down the rabbit hole we go…
