I submitted two scripts.

I am going to guess that one of them I submitted was: A Simply Scripts Christmas.. It was either written by me or Cliff from Cheers.

I asked Don to remove it from the scorecard because I intentionally made it DQ eligible by:

1) Exceeding the page length.
2) Not having an enchanted ornament.

Just wanted to add some humor around the holidays and pay homage to Don and my mates here. Didn't want it to be voted for (or against for that matter :)

Thanks in advance to all MEMBERS that took it with the good natured humor intended.

Cliff - out

Don telling people not to look.  ;D
Honour system, yay.
...
Oh, Wow! You wrote that one, Dave?
Really tickled my funny bone. Excellent work.

Now, I have to go back and check out my guesses...

Carry on.

Glad it hit the mark.

I picked that you wrote that, Dave. Lib will verify that lol

So far, I think Dave wrote Glitter & Glow ( like Matty said) or The Gift of Giving, and I think Rob wrote Cat Butt Christmas. And, I'll go for Ant for Where the Heart Is.

Going to try and guess a few more...

Hmm, which one did Steven Clark (without an e) write? Not his usual Hallmark fare I'm guessing, which makes me think something like the infamous Tuna Casserole OWC going a little way back.

Lol. Geez Louise. It rings a bell, but I honestly forgot about that one. My OWC entities over the last three years have been less than memorable. Or, memorable. Depends which way you look at it. I’m guessing my entry this year also falls into that same category.

Haha. I just looked that one up and reread. I stand by it. :)

And so you should! Wasn't having a go, just commenting on your different style and versatility.   :D

Well thanks. I’ll also be the first to admit I wrote a pile of shit.

Dave - Glitter and Glow
Mark Renshaw - The Gift of Giving
LC - To The Moon and Back
Anthony Cawood - Remember, Remember...

Really, Matty? That one's up my alley, looking forward to seeing who wrote what on all.
I read every script but didn't publicly review all. Just saying...

I want more guesses...

I'm trying to think of which writers would join the ranks of 'kill the kid', for want of a better phrase.

Al I want for Christmas &
All I want for Christmas is my...

Maybe Steven Clark for the latter. Or: for The Enchanted Carrot?
John for the former?

Maybe John for Remember, Remember?

Oh, I don't know...

Actually, there were quite a few 'kill the kid' tales in this lot.
Not to mention Silent Nights as well.

What's up with you people?  ;D

I never ever have a clue  other than Jeff has to be involved with one of the dildos

I'm rubbish at the guessing too, get lost in the stories and forget to look for clues.

Clearly some people have Title Page tells too from Don posted, never knew that either!

Libby seems to often spot mine, I'm putting dildos and Bunnyman in my next script just to throw her off ;-)

Cracked me up.  ;D

I think Stevie might have something to say about any Bunnyman sequels.

I'm a horrible guesser except for Zack and Paul, neither of which entered from what I can tell. There were a couple that I recognized unmistakable style but I can't remember which ones they were and who I was thinking wrote them.

So no guesses from me.

When are/were votes due? Tonight? I've my favorite, for sure (besides mine, of course). Can't wait to see who wrote what....

FYI: Don wrote - Writers' Choice Due: Sunday 27th at midnight edt.

I'm pretty sure Dave wrote A Simply Scripts Christmas. As for who else wrote what, I haven't a Scooby Doo.

I’m not great at guessing, though I usually can tell Dustin’s, however, he’s out.

Nice bunch of scripts, but only two rose to the top of my heap, with one being just a little bit better than the other. We’ll see how the voting turns out.

My guide to guessing...

Zack’s would be a slasher
Jeff’s formatting impeccable
Dustin’s are bleak
Libby, I’m guessing, would be warm and family oriented with a positive message
Mark might have a little sci-fi thrown in
Dave would have a twist
Pia, also a twist but then another twist

Ooowww... A good summary for me to get to know people style's better . I do hope one day to make to your list:

Miranda: good structure, good plot, good twist, perfect DRAMA, ADVENTURE & very ROMANTIC ! (English, choice of words, formatting, dialog and description very poor ) LOL.

I am going to study for this. I do hope my day job allows me to do this in 2021.

Sounds a bit boring. I did kill a kid in a round in Blondie's Tournament so mine are not always touchy-feely. And had a character slash her husband to ribbons in another OWC - though he deserved it.

Anyway, me protesting too much...

Ha. I stand corrected. Warm, family oriented with a sprinkle of psychopath.

Just for the detail sakes - it wasn’t just a kid, she killed her own kid. Together with her husband but the more bodies the merrier!

I think that the one who wrote Remember Remember wrote Glitter and Glow

Haha, I see what you did there, Kham, with 'my favourite'.
I often wonder how things would have gone if only I'd exercised a little restraint and just done the husband.   ;D

Onto other matters, it's the 29th here, Don!
I don't know about you guys, but I'm on tenterhooks to see who actually wrote what.

It'll be time to announce the next challenge soon...
