Kansas City FilmFest International Online 2021

A short I wrote is being screened at the Kansas City FilmFest International Online taking place this week. I've gotten awards from film fests but this is my first public screening, and it's online so anyone can watch it from anywhere in the world.

This short is the first of a series of six. The second has already been shot and I just delivered the third script for production. It's based on a short I posted on here two or three years ago that was filmed twice (they're among the film link banners at the top of the page). The second director wanted to do a series based on the character, and here we are, another SimplyScripts success story!

The festival is live now. The online format lets you view individual films for US$0.99, or you buy a pass to view them all. I kind of like that model.

Couldn't figure out how to just watch your film and wasn't keen to do the whole festival. Will wait for the YouTube version.

Soooo....we won the Audience Choice Award for Narrative Short. ;D

I wasn't expecting to win anything, there were some great shorts in there.
