Anyone got an entry into PAGE this year?

I threw a feature into the mix.

I was on the fence about entering, but screw it. I entered my TV pilot.

Hahaha! This is the first year I'm seriously entering anything and I'm still waiting for my Blacklist eval. We'll see how well it does, but my expectations are pretty low.

Good luck!

I wanted to enter a feature, but it's just not ready. I'm trying to work on being patient with story, although this may be pushing it.

I entered a feature, a tv pilot and a short, so if I don't make it to the quarter-finals with any of those I'll be red-faced!

The feature was my f*ck-it script I wrote it during the first lockdown and was partially influenced by the lockdown. It's a thriller-comedy and those who have read it says it's completely bonkers, and it is but it's something I wanted to write. I don't expect this to progress in ANY competition but thought, what the hell.

The TV pilot I do have hopes for. I've spent 6 months writing it, but you never can tell in these things.

Best of luck to those who've entered and I hope the SS massive do us proud in the final stages.

According to an email I've just received from them there have been 9447 entries this year! Sheesh! I won't be getting my hopes up!

Wow, that's insane. Can't really see my dumpster fire of a script progressing, but we will see.

1,665 TV Dramas. And only the top 10% go on to quarterfinals. That's some stiff competition.

Found out the same script only made it to quarterfinals in the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices comp, so yeah, not getting my hopes up.

I'm suddenly getting lots of love for a bonkers comedy/thriller feature I wrote during the first wave of the pandemic called True Colours. In the past two weeks it has won Euroscript (don't know if you guys have heard of that one but it's big in  the UK and Europe), got through to the quarter finals of Nashville and now the Page quarter finals , so I'm happy with those apples!

Btw, my husband had a customer last week who buys "lost" packages from UPS. He said it's hit and miss, but sometimes something great comes through. Anyway, it made me think of your script. I had no idea this kind of stuff was going on.  :)
