Yes,  bumping my own thread.  Anyone have any experience submitting a micro short?

Not me, personally, Don.

But have been intrigued (and watched) the flash shorts - 60 seconds.
Up to 5 pages usually? A five-pager seems hard enough, and then there's 60 seconds!

Bumping for Don again.

Can't believe no-one on the boards has experience with this?
I'm interested as well.

How is this thread not a mile long already?

I've attended a couple of short film festivals (that included some excellent micro-shorts) and from what I can tell, there's a pretty broad spectrum of what is acceptable from the really good, to the wtf was that shit meant to be???

Plus I've seen ads and stuff over the years that would suggest many (if not most) are desperate for material (otherwise they're going to struggle to get people in, right?).

From what I've seen, some will charge to screen, but depending on the festival, I think some are free.

I'm not on Facebook, but that's where a lot of stuff I had seen was posted, so I guess that's a good place to start.
