Wytches, Vol. 1 by Scott Snyder, illustrated by Jock, was released in 2015 and contains the full story arc of 6 issues. Snyder has threatened a vol. 2 for 7 years but there's no recent news, which is just fine. It doesn't need more. If you're not into graphic novels, this may be a good one to get you hooked. Or you can stop reading here....

I will usually read a chapter (issue) or two in the morning with my coffee and savor the story over a few days but blew through the 180 pages in one sitting. Here's the synopsis:

When the Rooks family moves to the remote town of Litchfield, NH to escape a haunting trauma, they're hopeful about starting over. But something evil is waiting for them in the woods just beyond town. Watching from the trees. Ancient...and hungry.

Holy crap! Honestly haven't been this creeped out since reading Pet Sematary 40 years ago! A whole new take on witches. It reads like a storyboard and I can't believe this hasn't been made into a movie yet. ****

If you're new to graphic novels and like it, let me know and I'll turn you on to other 'must reads'. I got this on Amazon for $8 ($4 if you read Kindle, but graphic novels just aren't the same on a screen!).

Stephen King"The most terrifying comic you've ever read."

Really?
Might have to check it out. Thanks, John, going to look for an excerpt.

Yep, sounds like it'd make a terrific movie.

Not listed with my library. Only Batman from him, which I have no interest in.
Will check out Amazon.
