Got any good ones you wanna share? Any goals for 2022?

I've got one resolution... Save money. No matter what. Save.

As for goals... Last year I nailed my goal of finishing a feature(ended up writing 4 of them!!!). This year's goal is simple. Write one GOOD feature and enter it into some competitions.   ;D

Hope you are all doing well.  :)

Rinse and repeat year for me - going to try to re-write everything I've written.

Happy New Year to all.

I have too many New Years resolutions, but I rather have too any and fail, than none. First on the agenda is finishing up the January -21 project, then a treatment for someone, Selling Desert Tears or at least making The Blacklist.  ;D. Oh, and then there’s the collection of flash fiction I’ve been working on…  :o :B

I've written six animated shorts in the last month, for a Producer in Dubai, so re-writes on them before they'll hopefully be produced.

I've got a couple of features and a TV pilot that need re-writes and I'd like to get at least one more feature written.

I'd love to see more of my work, shorts or features, produced this year, fingers crossed.

Good luck to all with theirs.

Dave, you mean the big things, (features) I imagine?
Those shorts of yours are fine and dandy as is, I reckon.  :D

Anyway, I said I wouldn't, but I'll succumb to peer pressure & maybe it'll spur me on:

Edit and complete the January Project - thank you, Pia, btw!

Write a feature of my own - RomCom and/or Horror/Thriller.

You have permission to hunt me down if I don't achieve my goal.
You all know I'm at the other end of the earth so I'm pretty safe there.  :D

Non-related writing resolution: Get more sleep!
I could think of more but won't bore you.

I just finished a pilot in English that needs a rewrite. And I'm writing one in Russian that needs to be finished.

But I have other things to do that arer not wrting related. They are kind of big - take a medical interpreter exam and do another data science bootcamp. I subscribed for both already.

Also, I'm doing videos for funny cooking channel.

Too much I think, but I'm hopeful I'll be able to.  It's my first year ever to have any resolutions and I gathered a handful.

Oh, and to rewrite some things that I've done in the past!

If u have to choose one it’d be to read more scripts. All the award contender ones are up and I’ve read a couple but far off my pace from the last few years.  So, yes, read more!

Started writing my first novel... it's a whole new ball game. I feel like I have to totally change the way I think about what is been 'seen'.

Anyway... I'd like to finish that this year and it's where I'll be focusing all my creative attention and time so there won't be a whole lot, if anything, from me in terms of script writing until I'm done with the book.

I'll be lurking as always :)

Yes, it's really hard switching from one mode to the other.
Did you finish that other big project?
